With a printed top or dress
The combination of printed garments (flowers, polka-dots, stripes, squares,…) with a smooth cardigan is always a success. When choosing the color of the cardigan you can take as a reference some color of the print of the top, a color that contrasts with it (white-black, navy white, red-black, gray-pink,…) or a neutral shade (white, gray, beige,…).
La combinación de prendas estampadas (flores, lunares, rayas, cuadrados,…) con un cárdigan liso es siempre un éxito. A la hora de elegir el color de la chaqueta puedes tomar como referencia algún color del estampado del top, un color que contraste con él (blanco-negro, blanco marino, rojo-negro, gris-rosa,…) o un tono neutro (blanco, gris, beige,…).

If on the other hand, the cardigan is printed, we follow the same procedure: take a top in a some color of the cardigan’s print, or one that make contrast.
Si por el contrario, el cárdigan es estampado, seguimos el mismo procedimiento: llevar un top en algún color del cárdigan, o uno que contraste.

Another trick is to combine a smooth top with a cardigan of the same colour in equal or different shades. A plus of styling is achieved when several pieces have different textures (silk-wool, thick wool-cotton, knitwear,…)
Otro truco es combinar un top liso con un cárdigan del mismo color, en tonos iguales o diferentes. Un plus de estilo se consigue cuando varias piezas tienen diferentes texturas (seda, lana-algodón grueso, punto,…)

Cardigan and top or dress in contrasting colours
Another possibility is the combination of a light to medium colour (white-camel, pink-white, white-grey,…); a light to dark colour (white-black, beige-black,…)….), or of a light color with a medium and a dark one (white-camel-black, white-grey-black, beige-brown-brown-black, white-red-black,…).
Otra posibilidad es la combinación de un color claro con uno medio (blanco-camel, rosa-blanco, blanco-gris,…); un color claro con otro oscuro (blanco-negro, beige-negro,…), o un color claro con un color medio y uno oscuro (blanco-negro-camel, blanco-negro-negro, blanco-marrón-negro, beige-marrón-negro, blanco-rojo-negro,…).

In a Monochromatic or Duochromatic Look
For those days when we don’t have time to think about the look or we don’t feel like it, the most useful thing is a monochromatic look, of the same color, or in which it is played with the intensity of two next tones (grey-black, brown-beige, light blue-marine-blue,…).
Para esos días en los que no tenemos tiempo de pensar en nuestro look o no nos apetece, lo más útil es uno monocromático, del mismo color, o en el que se juega con la intensidad de dos tonos siguientes (gris-negro, marrón-beige, azul claro-azul marino,…).
