Spring Trends and Outfits with CECIL

In this post I’m going to talk about this spring’s trends and I’m going to show you some spring looks with clothes and accessories from CECIL that I created by combining seasonal pieces with classic and timeless pieces.

In general we see a lot of bright colours this season like fuchsia, orange, red, blue, green and others.
We also see cheerful prints like florals, alongside classics like stripes.

  • Tops, t-shirts and blouses

As always, classic and timeless pieces such as white or black t-shirts and white blouses and shirts, do not fail. A classic that comes back with force are the striped shirts, the typical blue striped shirt, we see it in all kinds of blues and stripes in all kinds of thicknesses from very thin to thick. However, this season, we not only see striped shirts in blue, but also in black, red, green or multicoloured.

We will also see many blouses and shirts with cheerful multicoloured prints, such flower and geometric prints.

  • Sweaters and cardigans

There’s nothing like a jumper for cooler days in spring. In addition to the classic white, black, grey and navy blue, and those in bright colours such as red, blue or green, there are also striped sweaters, white with red, blue, yellow or black stripes or black with white stripes, both with round collars and polo necks.
Knitted jackets can be short or long, with round or V-neck, plain or striped.

  • Dresses

Along the same lines as the other garments I have already mentioned, we find dresses in neutral and bright colours, shirt dresses, sports dresses, short, long or midi dresses, plain or with prints such as floral, geometric or stripes.

  • Skirts

This season we will see short, midi and long skirts.
Short denim skirts or midi skirts are on trend this season, especially in blue, white and black. We also see short straight skirts, plain or printed, knee-length A-line skirts with prints, midi-length or ankle-length skirts.

  • Pants and Jeans

When the good weather returns, we want to wear cool, breathable fabrics in which we can move freely. At the same time, as temperatures rise, we like to wear light and/or bright colours.
This is what is coming this season: trousers made of light and fresh fabrics, in light or bright colours and cheerful prints. We have a wide variety of lengths, from foot-length, ankle-length or 7/8 to below the knee or 3/4.
We see them from classic chinos to wide trousers.

As for jeans, along with blue, black or grey jeans, as well as white jeans, which will be the favourite with the arrival of the good weather, we have other tones such as pink or yellow.
We can also choose between slim fit jeans, wide jeans, ankle jeans or straight jeans.

  • Blazers

A blazer is a classic and timeless piece that makes a great wardrobe staple. It is a garment with which we never fail, whether in a casual, office or elegant look.
A classic black blazer is a safe choice, but if we want to take a risk and opt for a seasonal one, we can choose it in vibrant colours such as green, blue or fuchsia; with a longer shape or in a more casual fabric.

  • Jackets

In spring it can be hot or cold, rainy or sunny or all at the same time on the same day. That’s why it’s sometimes difficult to predict which jacket will be the most appropriate.
This season we have multiple options to choose the perfect jacket: from denim jackets to lightweight parkas, windbreakers, bomber jackets, or structured jackets.
